Eligibility Requirements
Organizations seeking Aspire Coronation Trust Foundation grants must meet the following criteria:
- Align with Aspire Coronation Trust Foundation’s focus areas of Health, Entrepreneurship, Leadership, or Environment.
- Be legally registered within an African country for at least two years.
- Hold non-profit status, with funding directed towards initiatives that are not for profit if applying as a social enterprise.
- Demonstrate a strong governance structure, including details of the board of directors in the registration documents.
- Show evidence of other sources of funding.
- Employ a minimum of three part-time or full-time paid individuals.
- Directly manage the project without acting as an intermediary.
- Implement the program or initiative within Africa.
Application Process
Successful applicants will receive invitations to submit comprehensive proposals with detailed budgets for their grant requests. Proposals must include a robust monitoring and evaluation plan as well as a sustainability plan. After a rigorous review by independent consultants, the final selection of proposals will lead to formal notifications to organizations, followed by interviews and physical visits.
