The Ygap South Africa accelerator program offers support to entrepreneurs aiming to expand their impact-focused ventures.
The program includes an intensive accelerator boot camp training followed by twelve months of personalized assistance, covering business skills development, technical support, strategy insights, mentor support, connections to international partner networks, peer learning, and access to a global community of entrepreneurs.
Eligibility
– Ventures operating in Agriculture, with a focus on encouraging Black and women-led businesses in climate, sustainability, livelihoods, or food security.
– Post-revenue ventures providing evidence of commercial transactions.
– Ventures recognizing and desiring the benefits of participating in the ygap program.
– Ventures with a social or environmental focus, working toward positive community, city, or country impact.
– Ventures intimately connected to their community, committed for the long term, and already operational and registered.
Benefits:
Ventures selected for the ygap Accelerator Program will graduate with:
– A proven and validated Theory of Change.
– Proof of product-market fit and a clear value proposition.
– A validated business model demonstrating desirability, feasibility, and viability.
– Detailed financial statements, including income and cash flow statements.
– Proven growth traction with data across key metrics.
– A reasonable and viable 12-month growth plan with clear action plans and projections.
Completing the Ygap Accelerator Program is expected to lead to increased revenue, job creation, and further investment, making a tangible difference in the supported communities.
