Juice wrld team releases a posthumous single titled “the light”. This portrays the struggles of juice wrld with love and depression. Juice wrld, in the chorus of the track details juice wrld affection for his desired partner — which, at the time of the track’s recording, would have been his fiancée, Ally Lotti. Juice wrld states that she is the solution to all his problems, whether that be mentally or physically.
Juice makes good use of a metaphor as he alludes his fiancé to the “light” in his life, a metaphor used to convey Juice wrld appreciation and gratitude towards his fiancée, who supported him in his darkest times, hence her being the light to his darkness.
