Additionally, the subscription offers priority access to the latest AI models, including OpenAI’s GPT-4 Turbo. Micro soft had previously announced plans to incorporate OpenAI offerings into Copilot.
Taking inspiration from OpenAI’s approach to custom AI creation, the new Co pilot Pro enables users to build their customized version of Copilot GPT tailored to specific use cases.
The company is also expanding Copilot for Micro soft 365 to businesses of all sizes. While this service became generally available for enterprises in November 2023, it is now being extended to smaller businesses.
The company is removing the 300-seat purchase minimum for commercial plans and making Copilot available for Office 365 E3 and E5 customers.
Yusuf Mehdi, Executive VP and Consumer CMO of the company highlighted that these updates are designed to provide more options for different customer needs.
The offerings include a free Copilot experience, the enhanced Pro subscription priced at $20 per month per user, and an enterprise option for businesses at $30 per person per month.
The company’s strategic shift towards bringing AI to consumers and businesses aligns with its significant investments, including a £2.5 billion investment in the UK over the next three years to expand its AI data center and research footprint.
