Arsenal’s Emirates Stadium will serve as the primary home ground for the women’s team starting next season due to a remarkable surge in interest, the club announced on Tuesday.
In the 2024/25 campaign, Arsenal plans to host 11 games at the Emirates Stadium, including eight Women’s Super League (WSL) matches and three Champions League games, provided they qualify for the group stages.

Additionally, any home legs in Champions League knockout ties will also be held at the Emirates.
For the remaining fixtures, including domestic cup matches, Arsenal’s Meadow Park ground will continue to be utilized, located in London’s commuter belt.
This decision follows the success of six WSL games played at the Emirates this season, which saw an average crowd of over 52,000 attendees, featuring two sell-out matches and three WSL attendance records.
Vinai Venkatesham, Arsenal’s chief executive, expressed excitement about the growing number of supporters attending games at the Emirates Stadium, citing recent sell-outs and increased attendance. He stated that making the Emirates Stadium the primary home for Arsenal Women is the next step in their journey.
Arsenal Women’s head coach, Jonas Eidevall, highlighted the special bond with the supporters and expressed anticipation for playing in front of larger crowds at the Emirates Stadium every week in the upcoming season.
