Nigerian singer Tochukwu Ojogwu, popularly known as Odumodublvck, has asserted that no musician paved the way for Wizkid or Burna Boy.
His response comes after veteran singer Eedris Abdulkareem claimed in a recent podcast interview that he paved the way for Davido, Burna, Wizkid, and other Nigerian artists.

Odumodu countered this statement, considering it an attempt to claim “God’s glory.” He emphasized that diligence and determination were the driving factors that led Wizkid and Burna Boy to their current positions. According to him, artists can inspire each other, but ultimately, only God can pave the way to success.
Taking to his X handle, he expressed, “Everybody dey claim pave the way. Everybody trynna claim God’s glory. None of you n*ggas paved the way for no one. Nobody paved the way for Wizkid or Burna [Boy]. They hustled. All of us get our individual struggles and realities. Inspired? Yes. Paved the way? That’s God.”
