Vice President Kashim Shettima has advocated for the adoption of technology and a stronger collaboration among stakeholders to improve the business environment in Nigeria.

Shettima made this appeal during a meeting of the Presidential Enabling Business Environment Council (PEBEC) at the Presidential Villa in Abuja on Tuesday.

He emphasized that fostering robust engagement among stakeholders and incorporating relevant technology would help address challenges faced by operators at the nation’s entry points and in the realm of business regulations.

Dr. Jumoke Oduwole, the Special Adviser to the President on PEBEC and Investment, highlighted that the Council had launched a 90-day Regulatory Reform Accelerator Action Plan.

She noted that this action plan aimed to achiaeve measurable export-focused impact, enhancing productivity and competitiveness across key sectors.

Oduwole stated that the plan was designed to improve the Nigerian business environment and support the economic reform initiatives of President Bola Tinubu’s administration.
