About the World Vision Uganda Graduate Internship Program
The Graduate Internship Program (GRIP) is a structured professional development programme created by World Vision Uganda to prepare young graduates for careers in humanitarian and community development.
Interns work with experienced professionals on projects that improve the lives of vulnerable children, families, and communities across Uganda. Throughout the programme, participants gain practical workplace experience while strengthening their leadership, technical, and professional skills.
World Vision Uganda operates in 41 districts through 52 Area Programs, delivering projects in health, nutrition, education, child protection, livelihoods, water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH), emergency response, and community resilience.

Interns will be deployed to locations including Kampala, Bugiri, Terego, Mpigi, Kamwenge, Lira Palwo, Arua, Karamoja, Bukoma, Pader, Buyinda, Busakira, Soroti, Yumbe, Adjumani, Mayuge, and other regions.
Eligibility Requirements
To apply, applicants must:
- Be a Ugandan citizen.
- Have graduated from a recognized university within the last two years.
- Hold at least a Second Class Upper degree.
- Be 26 years old or younger.
- Be an active Christian with strong Christian values.
- Demonstrate leadership experience and good character.
- Be physically and emotionally fit, supported by a recent medical examination.
- Disclose any potential conflict of interest involving World Vision Uganda.
Preference will be given to applicants who:
- Previously benefited from World Vision’s Child Sponsorship Programme.
- Have participated in World Vision Uganda community development programmes.
