Who Is Paul James Eteudo?
Paul James Eteudo is 33 years old and works as a farmer, though that word barely covers what he actually does. He is the Founder and CEO of VegiTuber Farms Limited, an agribusiness he started in Ibadan in 2020, right in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic.
At a time when many businesses were shutting down, Paul decided to build one. He wanted to solve a real problem – food security. He also wanted to prove something that not everyone believes, that farming can be both profitable and genuinely good for people.
Paul James Eteudo & The VegiTuber Farms Journey – From 1 to 22 Acres
VegiTuber Farms did not start big. It began on a single acre of land. Through steady work and smart decisions, that one acre has grown into a 22-acre climate-smart farm.
The farm today grows bio-fortified staples, meaning crops bred to carry extra nutrients that people need. This includes seven varieties of potatoes and two varieties of maize, along with cassava, yam, and a range of vegetables.
Growing a farm this size takes planning, patience, and a willingness to keep adjusting as challenges come up. That kind of growth, built over six years, says a lot about Paul’s discipline and his commitment to doing things properly.

“I strongly believe that sustainable agriculture is a powerful tool for tackling unemployment, poverty, and food insecurity while protecting the environment.”
And on the value that has shaped his entire journey:
“One value that defines my journey is continuous learning. I actively seek knowledge, embrace innovation, and freely share opportunities and insights with others because I believe that when one person grows, entire communities benefit.”
That last point is worth sitting with. Paul does not just grow crops. He is committed to helping other people grow too, whether that means sharing knowledge with a young farmer, connecting someone to an opportunity, or simply mentoring people who are starting where he once started.
