Applications are now open for the funded University of Bristol Think Big Scholarship 2025 for international students already studying or who have received an admission letter from the University
The University of Bristol offers a variety of scholarships for international students through its Think Big Scholarship Programme. For the 2025 academic year, the university has allocated up to £6 million to support international students pursuing postgraduate studies.
Postgraduate Scholarships: Valued at £6,500, £13,000, and £26,000 for each year of study. Additionally, postgraduate students can apply for the Think Big Career Accelerator, a bespoke employability programme designed to enhance career prospects after graduation, which includes a £3,000 scholarship.
Eligibility Criteria:
You can apply if you:
- Have applied to any eligible one-year, full-time taught master’s programme, or one of our eligible two-year programmes: MSc Social Work and MA Law.
- Are starting your master’s programme in September 2025
- Are classed as an overseas student for fee-paying purposes.
- You do not need to have an offer to study before submitting an international scholarship application.

Application Process
- Applicants need to submit only one scholarship application to be considered for all eligible scholarships under the Think Big programme.
- Ensure you are completing the correct form for your study level.
- The form cannot save your progress. Complete the application form in one session.
- Once you submit your application you cannot make any changes to your application after submission.
- You’ll get an email confirming receipt of your application. Check your junk or spam folder if you do not receive it.
- If you’re using a smartphone to apply, turn it to landscape mode for a better view of the text.
Additional Information
All University of Bristol international scholarships are applied toward tuition fees only and do not cover living expenses, airfares, or other costs.
