Sadiq Mamman, the Kaduna State commissioner for local government and chieftaincy affairs, has expressed his appreciation to the national chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr. Umar Ganduje, for appointing Governor Uba Sani as the coordinating governor of the North West Zone.
He conveyed the gratitude of the people of Kaduna, as well as Governor Uba Sani’s friends and political associates, towards the national chairman of APC and the members of the National Working Committee (NWC) for honoring him with this responsibility.

They have pledged their commitment to diligently mobilize and unite party members, strengthen internal democracy, and prepare for future political contests. Mamman expressed confidence that with the collective efforts of all, Governor Uba Sani will excel in his new role.
In a statement by Mr. Victor Bobai, Mamman emphasized that Governor Sani’s appointment will contribute to the unity and progress of the party in the region, leading to a victory at the polls in 2027.
Governor Sani is tasked with coordinating the governors of the North-West and encouraging their active involvement in the party’s activities. He is also responsible for facilitating regular interactions between the governors and the party leadership.
Mamman highlighted that Governor Uba Sani’s responsibilities include initiating a genuine reconciliation process for aggrieved members in the North-West Zone. Furthermore, he will mobilize the governors to actively participate in party activities both within and outside the region.
Additionally, Governor Uba Sani will collaborate with the governors on matters promoting the party’s progress and unity within the zone, and support the party in resource mobilization efforts within the North-West Zone.
