President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is set to embark on a two-day official visit to the State of Qatar following an invitation from His Highness, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Emir of Qatar.

According to the statement by Presidential spokesman Ajuri Ngelale, President Tinubu will witness the signing of several agreements aimed at boosting Nigeria’s real sector and promoting value-additive investments.

The agreements will span areas such as trade, education, culture, solid minerals, digital economy, agriculture, and gas. Additionally, both nations will strengthen cooperation in counter-terrorism efforts.

The visit will include the President’s participation in a business and investment forum, facilitating discussions among high-level executives from the public and private sectors of Nigeria and Qatar. The forum aims to explore cross-sectoral opportunities for mutual growth and development.

The President will be accompanied by senior government officials for the signing of agreements, underscoring the significance of fostering collaboration and expanding bilateral ties between Nigeria and Qatar.
