Eligibility Requirements
To be considered for the SJTU School of Medicine Scholarship 2025, applicants must:
- Be non-Chinese citizens in good health.
- Must not be currently studying in China.
- Show excellent academic performance.
- Must not receive other types of Chinese scholarships (e.g., government, local government, or institutional).
Age requirements
Doctoral Degree Applicants: Must have a master’s degree and be no older than 40 years.
Master’s Degree Applicants: Must have a bachelor’s degree and be no older than 35 years.
Required Documents
Applicants must submit the following documents:
- Application Form.
- Degree Certificates: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree certificates.
- Academic Transcripts: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree transcripts.
- Study or Research Plan.
- List and Abstracts of Published Papers.
- Recommendation Letters: At least two letters.
- Passport Copy: Valid ordinary passport.
- Foreigner Physical Examination Record: This form can be downloaded from www.csc.edu.cn and must be completed in English.
Guidelines for Application
- Visit the program webpage.
- Fill in and submit the registration information on the CSC Online Registration System for Studying in China and print out the application form.
- If unable to register online, download the Chinese Government Scholarship Application Form from www.csc.edu.cn. Carefully read the instructions and complete each section accurately in Chinese or English.
