

The upcoming 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier between Nigeria and Sao Tome and Principe will be officiated by Lahlou Benbraham, an Algerian referee. The match will take place at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Akwa Ibom.

Benbraham will be supported by Brahim El Hamlaoui Sid Ali and Mohammed Serradj, who are both from Algeria and will serve as Assistant Referees 1 and 2 respectively. The fourth official for the game will be Nabil Boukhalfa, also from Algeria, while Prosper Addo from Ghana will be the match commissioner.
The referee Assessor will be Komi Konyoh from Togo, and the general match coordinator will be Ozoemena Joseph from Nigeria. Nigeria has already qualified for the 2023 AFCON, and in this match, they need just one point to finish as Group A winners ahead of Guinea-Bissau.
