To bolster the growth and development of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) in Nigeria, the civil society organizations Forward Ever Initiative is urging both federal and state governments to collaborate with the Global Youth Skills Acquisition and Poverty Eradication Organization (GYSAPEO).
During a press briefing in Abuja, Ahmed Bello, the National Coordinator of the CSO, emphasized the success of the GYSAPEO Market Money Scheme and its crucial role in supporting SMEs.

Bello praised the GYSAPEO Market Money Scheme, led by Dr. Emmanuel Chuks Ozegbe, for providing an enabling environment for SMEs to thrive and expand their operations.
He noted the organization’s commitment to supporting and empowering small businesses, highlighting its unparalleled efforts in recognizing the vital role SMEs play in Nigeria’s economic landscape.
The CSO is calling on the Federal Government to collaborate with the GYSAPEO Market Money Scheme and provide the necessary funds for the project, emphasizing the immediate need to ease the challenges faced by Nigerian SMEs and promote their growth.
The GYSAPEO Market Money Scheme operates by offering small loans to business owners, providing training, evaluation, empowerment, and mentorship to help them grow their small-scale enterprises.
Bello stressed the significance of partnering with GYSAPEO to support SMEs, recognizing their vital contributions to the nation’s economic development.
