Applications are now open for the 2025 SAICA’s Thuthuka Bursary Fund, which is exclusively available to students aspiring to become Chartered Accountants.

Successful applicants will need to enter into a contract with both the Thuthuka Education and Upliftment Fund (TEUF) and the National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) to receive the bursary.
It’s important to highlight that the Thuthuka Bursary cannot be utilized to settle existing loans or debts.
Applicants will be evaluated based on their academic performance, National Benchmark Test (NBT) results, and financial need, as assessed by the NSFAS financial means test.
This funding application is specifically for the 2025 academic year.
Your application will be considered incomplete if:
– The consent form is not signed.
– All required documents are not uploaded.
Supporting Documents Required
– Signed consent form (available for download)
– Applicant’s ID
– Parent(s)’/Guardian(s)’ ID
– Parent(s)’/Guardian(s)’ salary slip
– Copies of ID documents of individuals dependent on family income
– Final Grade 11 results
– Final Grade 12 results (if Grade 12 has been completed)
– Full university transcript (if currently enrolled in University)
– University provisional acceptance letter (if still in high school)
