Mama Cash Grants provides support to ambitious self-led feminist organizations and initiatives that advocate for and advance the rights of women, girls, and trans and intersex individuals.
The Resilience Fund offers core, flexible, and long-term support for a duration of up to 10 years. This allows grantee partners to plan, strategize, and execute their work autonomously and according to their vision, fostering the growth, strength, and sustainability of their feminist movements.

In 2024, Mama Cash is implementing a regional restriction for new Resilience grants to re-balance their grantmaking portfolio, emphasizing core, long-term, and flexible funding.
Eligibility
– Open to self-led feminist organizations and initiatives based in the following regions: Africa, West Asia, East Asia, South Asia, Southeast Asia, and Oceania.
– Applicants not based in the specified regions will not be considered for new Resilience Fund grants in 2024.
– To qualify for the Resilience Fund, groups and initiatives must:
– Work from a feminist perspective focusing on women’s, girls’, trans, and/or intersex people’s rights.
– Be self-led by the individuals they work with.
– Have the promotion of human rights for women, girls, trans people, and/or intersex people as their primary mission.
– Advocate for structural and fundamental change.
– Address issues that are under-addressed or contested in their context.
Grant
– The grant value ranges from €5,000 to €50,000 per year.
– The average grant size is €35,000.
