This is not merely about creating businesses for the sake of it, but about fostering successful enterprises that significantly impact national development and contribute to the gross domestic product (GDP).
In Nigeria, we are fortunate to have a wealth of entrepreneurial talent. However, a persistent challenge is that many Nigerian businesses fail to endure beyond one generation. This underscores the need for an entrepreneurial revolution to address Nigeria’s economic and employment issues effectively.
At the Biodun and Ibikunle Foundation, we are committed to spearheading this entrepreneurial revolution in Nigeria and across Africa through our SEEDINVEST Acceleration Program. This program is designed to empower micro and small businesses by providing them with asset grants, entrepreneurial training, and advisory services essential for their growth and success.
Each successful business contributes significantly to the economy and society. These contributions manifest in various forms, such as poverty reduction, job creation, and enhanced mental and physical wellbeing.
