The AKISAN 2024 Scholarship Program is currently accepting applications from eligible students studying at polytechnics, colleges of education, and universities.

Ten Akwa Ibom students who are presently studying in the USA will be granted an award of $500 each. Additionally, 62 students from Nigerian universities, polytechnics, and colleges of education will receive a cash prize of N100,000 each. Applications are open to all Akwa Ibom indigenes currently pursuing undergraduate degrees in recognized Nigerian tertiary institutions.
Benefits
The AKISAN Scholarship Program has two categories of awards:
1. $500 for 10 students studying in the USA
2. N100,000 for 62 students studying in Nigerian institutions.
Requirements
Applicants must:
– Be indigenes of Akwa Ibom State.
– Be enrolled in a public institution of higher learning anywhere in Nigeria.
– Be undergraduate students.
– Be registered for the semester in which the scholarship is granted.
– Have a minimum GPA of 2.5 for undergraduates or a High School GPA of 3.0 (on a 5.0 scale) for first-year undergraduates.
