Applications are Now Open for the ECDAN Knowledge Fellows Program 2024 with up to $3,000

The ECDAN Knowledge Fellows program offers early-career ECD professionals worldwide a chance to develop professionally, receive mentorship, and network while working on a project that supports ECDAN’s learning goals.

Started in 2021, the program aims to help new ECD professionals grow their skills, knowledge, and professional connections. This support helps them stay interested in the ECD field and adds fresh perspectives to global ECD discussions.

Eligibility

To qualify, Knowledge Fellows must:

Have an advanced degree obtained in the last three years.
Not be currently writing a PhD dissertation.
Be able to commit 6 to 10 hours per week from July 2024 to March 2025.
Have interest and experience in ECD.
Be comfortable writing and communicating in English.
Be willing to meet with a mentor at least once a month and join monthly group meetings.
Be skilled at analyzing information from various sources and summarizing it clearly.
Be able to work independently and accept feedback.

Benefits

Knowledge Fellows will receive:

$3,000 in financial support, paid in two parts.
A mentor with expertise in their topic area to guide them.
Ongoing professional development and support from ECDAN’s Secretariat.

Invitations to events like webinars, discussions, and learning exchanges hosted by ECDAN and partners.

Application Process

Applications are submitted through an online Google form. Applicants should prepare their information in advance to ensure it is well-written and complete. Professional writing and organization of ideas are part of the evaluation. Responses to open questions can be drafted in MS Word and then copied into the form. No attachments are allowed. Applicants will receive an email copy of their submission.
