The Global Environmental Education Partnership (GEEP) Youth Innovation Challenge, in collaboration with the Taiwan Ocean Conservation Administration (OCA), is pleased to announce the opening of applications for the 2024 Youth Innovation Challenge (YIC): Advancing Marine Conservation!
The YIC offers an exciting opportunity for young individuals aged 15–30 worldwide to showcase their innovative solutions aimed at safeguarding marine resources.
This year’s challenge focuses on addressing pressing marine issues such as biodiversity loss, marine debris, lack of awareness, and other related concerns. Participants are encouraged to incorporate environmental education as a vital component of their proposed solutions.
Eligibility Requirements
The Youth Innovation Challenge is open to young leaders and innovators between the ages of 15 and 30. To qualify, your innovative solutions must address one of the following key areas, with environmental education playing a central role:
