The Nigeria Police Force Service Commission (PSC) has scheduled Tuesday, March 5, 2024, for the computer-based test (CBT) for successful applicants in the Police recruitment process.
The screening took place in the 36 states of the federation and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja.

The spokesperson of the commission, Ikechukwu Ani, shared this information, stating that a total of 171,956 applicants successfully passed the screening exercise and are eligible to participate in the computer-based tests for general duty positions.
Ani mentioned that the Police Recruitment Board approved the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) to conduct the computer-based tests due to its longstanding expertise in such examinations.
The shortlisted applicants consist of 25,818 females and 146,138 males. The PSC noted that successful candidates from the computer-based test would undergo medical examinations before proceeding with training.
The Chairman of PSC, Dr. Solomon Arase, emphasized the commission’s commitment to concluding the exercise promptly, allowing successful candidates to contribute to the fight against insurgency and banditry.
