The Swedish Institute She Entrepreneurs leadership program caters to highly motivated women entrepreneurs in the Middle East, North Africa, and Türkiye, aiming to support sustainable and scalable businesses that contribute to social and/or environmental change.
Eligibility
– Woman entrepreneur born between 1978 and 1999.
– Operational business ready for expansion.
– Potential to develop a financially sustainable business model contributing to the Sustainable Development Goals.
– Based in Algeria, Egypt, Iran, Jordan, Lebanon, Morocco, Palestine, Tunisia, or Türkiye.
– Proficient command of both written and spoken English.
Program Timeline
– Online training and mentorship: End of April – mid-November 2024.
– Onsite learning week in Stockholm: 9 – 15 September 2024 (dates may change).
Costs
– Participants cover their flights to and from Stockholm.
– Accommodation and most meals during the onsite learning week in Stockholm.
– Insurance during the onsite learning week in Stockholm.
– All training material online and onsite.
Application Evaluation Criteria
– Business potential.
– Contribution to the Sustainable Development Goals.
– Potential of the applicant as an entrepreneur.
