Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, has unveiled a special intervention package totaling N5 billion to alleviate the economic challenges faced by the people of Ogun State.
The announcement, made during an emergency press conference at the Aremo Olusegun Osoba Press Center in Oke Mosan, Abeokuta, covers various sectors to provide relief to residents.

The intervention package is designed to address needs in education, health, food palliatives, and the welfare of civil servants in the state.
As part of the initiative, indigent students in public primary and secondary schools will receive a one-time intervention package of N10,000 each. Additionally, indigent students in public tertiary institutions will be granted N50,000 each along with learning materials.
The governor’s announcement reflects a commitment to supporting vulnerable populations and mitigating the economic impact of current challenges.
