The 2024 Graça Machel Trust’s Women Creating Wealth (WCW) Entrepreneurship Program is now accepting applications. This program is dedicated to African women entrepreneurs, aiming to empower them with essential skills, tools, mindset, business development support, and access to a vibrant business community and network.

WCW is designed to build confidence, skills, and networks for women entrepreneurs to scale their businesses and transition from income generation to wealth creation.

Eligibility Requirements
- Women entrepreneurs in South Africa.
- Age: 18 and above.
- Must be a registered business owner, with a minimum qualification of a matric certificate and the ability to study online.
- Business operation for 2 years or more.
- Operational business or a product/service that can be tested in the market with growth potential.
- Annual business turnover between R120,000 – R10 million.
- Businesses in financial services sectors (Accounting, Financial Consulting, Payment Processing, Insurance, Investment Services, Regulatory and Compliance Services, Securities and Brokerage, Financial Technology, Real Estate and Mortgage Services, Credit and Lending, Other services).
Program Delivery
- Ignite course is offered on an online platform.
- Self-learning sessions, coaching, and peer-to-peer learning.
- Virtual networking sessions, workshops, and face-to-face workshops.
- Program duration: 10 months (4 months blended learning, 6 months aftercare).

Required Documents
- Certified Identity Document (ID), not older than 3 months.
- Proof of business registration certificate.
- BEE certificate OR an affidavit, not older than 12 months.
The program is free; participants are expected to have internet access for online learning and engagement.
