Eligibility Criteria

The Africa Startup Law Accelerator’s 12-week virtual training program emphasizes the following, including:

  1. Developing legal-tech solutions to enhance legal practice or improve access to justice and legal services for citizens and small businesses in Africa.
  2. Demonstrating a working solution with traction, providing evidence of its potential fit for the market.
  3. Possessing a robust team with complementary skills and a shared vision, led by inspiring founder(s) driven by making a significant impact.
  4. Establishing a sustainable revenue model indicating potential financial sustainability within a reasonable timeframe, whether for-profit or non-profit.
  5. Demonstrating ambition and well-defined plans to scale into different markets beyond the immediate target market, contingent on the startup’s growth journey.
