Eligibility Criteria for Standard Bank Basali Program
Business ownership: Must be a black women-owned business with 51% or more ownership (as defined by the Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment Act).
Registration: The business must be registered with the Companies and Intellectual Property Commission (CIPC).
Citizenship: The beneficiary must be a South African citizen conducting business in South Africa.
Revenue: Total annual revenue should be less than R10 million.
Viability: The business should demonstrate commercially viable operations with foreseeable growth.
Exclusions: Should not be an alumni of the Basali Development Programme and not currently employed by Standard Bank.
