The RETTI X WAVE Solar Training Program was established to instruct young individuals, women, underprivileged individuals, and students in Solar Power Design, Installation, and Employability Skills. This initiative is designed to facilitate access to skilled labor for the energy transition.
The primary objective is to invest in the technical capabilities of the youth in Nigeria in the field of Renewable Energy Technology, offering them opportunities for career growth within the energy sector.

By doing so, the program intends to cultivate a proficient workforce for the renewable energy industry and nurture entrepreneurs who can extend access to clean energy to millions of Nigerians lacking this access.

The program will enhance the participants’ skills in various aspects of the renewable energy technology value chain, including:
- Solar solution design and development.
- Installation engineering.
- Marketing and distribution.
- Independent consultancy.
- Promotion of solar energy.
- Solar panel production.
Eligibility Criteria for RETTI X WAVE Solar Training 2023
Prospective applicants should meet the following criteria:
Age between 25 and 40 years.
Residency in Etiosa LGA (Lekki-Ajah Axis).
Demonstrated commitment to learning and the ability to attend the two-week in-person training. Failure to attend any scheduled classes will result in disqualification, and the opportunity will be offered to a more committed individual.

The scholarship covers the following:

Application Process for RETTI X WAVE Solar Training 2023
All shortlisted candidates will receive a phone call for a brief interview. Those selected will be contacted again.
All required learning materials, including writing supplies, textbooks, practical equipment, and safety gear, will be provided to each participant for the duration of the training. Participants are only required to bring their passion and commitment to the program.
