Who This Scholarship is For?

Special consideration is given to students who have experienced a significant personal or family crisis, such as the death, terminal illness, or permanent disability of a parent or guardian, or the loss of a breadwinner’s job, which has put a strain on their family’s finances.

Scholarship Amount

The scholarship provides a fixed amount to help cover educational expenses:

  • For students in Classes 1 to 6: INR 15,000
  • For students in Classes 7 to 12, Diploma, ITI, and Polytechnic: INR 18,000

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for this scholarship, an applicant must meet the following requirements:

  • Nationality: Must be an Indian national.
  • Educational Status: Must be currently studying in Class 1 to 12, or pursuing a diploma, ITI, or polytechnic course in a private, government, or government-aided school in India.
  • Academic Performance: Must have secured at least 55% marks in the previous qualifying examination.
  • Family Income: The annual family income from all sources must be less than or equal to INR 2.5 lakh.

Note on Priority: The scholarship gives special consideration to students who have experienced a significant personal or family crisis, such as the death, terminal illness, or permanent disability of a parent or guardian, or the loss of a breadwinner’s job, which has put a strain on their family’s finances.

Required Documents

You will need to have the following documents ready to upload with your online application:

  • A recent passport-size photograph of the applicant.
  • The previous year’s marksheet (from the academic year 2024-25).
  • A government-issued identity proof (Aadhaar Card, Voter ID, or Driving License).
  • Proof of current year’s admission (such as a Fee Receipt, Admission Letter, School ID Card, or a Bonafide Certificate for the academic year 2025-26).
  • The applicant’s bank passbook or a canceled check.
  • Proof of income (any one of the following):
    • Income Proof issued by a Gram Panchayat, Ward Counselor, or Sarpanch.
    • Income Proof issued by SDM, DM, CO, or Tehsildar.
    • An affidavit.
  • Proof of personal or family crisis (if applicable).
