Applications are now open for the fully funded Taiwan International Internship Programme 2025
The TIIP 2025 offers a monthly stipend of NTD 30,000 and covers half of your airfare costs to Taiwan. Participants will gain scientific education, hands-on training, and an opportunity to learn the Chinese language during this fully funded internship.

Benefits
Selected participants will enjoy the following benefits:
- NTD 30,000/month stipend (before tax).
- Half the cost of economy-class round-trip airfare (via the cheapest route) between the participant’s hometown and Taipei.
- Note: For participants from the same location in the same batch, reimbursement is capped at a maximum of NTD 15,000.
- On-campus accommodation arranged at an affordable rate.
- Opportunity to receive scientific education, hands-on training, and learn the Chinese language.
Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for the Taiwan International Internship Program (TIIP) 2025, applicants must be:
- Undergraduate students in their final year.
- Master’s students.
- Individuals holding a Bachelor’s (B.S.) or Master’s degree.
Ineligible Applicants:
- Ph.D. students.
- Previous participants of the TIIP program.
- Current employees or research assistants at Academia Sinica.
Internship Program Duration
The internship runs for 2 months, divided into three cohorts:
- 1st Cohort: May 1 – June 30.
- 2nd Cohort: June 1 – July 31.
- 3rd Cohort: July 1 – August 31.

Applicants must prepare and submit the following documents:
- Updated CV or Resume.
- Academic Transcripts.
- Recommendation Letters.
- Personal Statement or Motivation Letter.
- English Proficiency Proof (if applicable).
- Passport Copy.
