Scholarship Benefits
Successful applicants for the University of Hull Fairer Future Scholarship will receive:
- A 50% tuition fee scholarship for all years of their undergraduate study at the University of Hull.
- Scholarships are available to 10 students for the duration of their degree (up to 3 years).
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the Fairer Future Global Scholarship, applicants must:
- Have an offer of study for an undergraduate course at the University of Hull.
- Not have previously studied at a degree level in the UK.
- Be classified as an international student for tuition purposes.
- Not be receiving financial sponsorship from a government or commercial body.
- Submit a completed Fairer Future Global Scholarship application form.
- Provide a reference letter from a teacher or counselor from their high school for scholarship selection.
Restrictions
- The scholarship is only applicable to full-time, Hull-based undergraduate programmes.
- It covers tuition fees only and does not include living expenses.
- Scholarships are valid for the duration of undergraduate study, up to 3 years maximum.
- Applicants must demonstrate they have sufficient living expenses as required by UKVI regulations before the university can issue a Student Visa certificate of sponsorship.
- The scholarship cannot be deferred beyond the September 2025/26 entry.
- Students cannot hold more than one University of Hull scholarship simultaneously.
Selection Process
Applications will be evaluated based on the quality of the responses provided in the scholarship application form. The form must be completed by the applicant without external assistance. If a scholarship is awarded, recipients will be notified in writing and must respond to the notification within 72 hours. If no response is received, the scholarship may be reallocated to another applicant.

- Apply for the scholarship by completing the application form provided on the university’s portal.
- Ensure you have already applied for an undergraduate degree at the University of Hull before submitting the scholarship application, as applications without a prior study offer cannot be considered.
