The African Forum and Network on Debt and Development (AFRODAD) is a Pan-African Civil Society Organization with national partners across 16 African countries and three regional economic blocks. What Youโ€™ll Gain

Required Knowledge and Interests

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Masterโ€™s degree in fields such as administration, human resources, communications, data science, development economics, economics, international development, international relations, law, or statistics.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and writing skills; confident public speaking.
  • Understanding: Familiarity with African development and finance perspectives and a commitment to advancing Africaโ€™s global agenda.
  • Work Environment: Ability to work from home and remotely, with AFRODAD providing necessary support for homeworking.
  • Languages: Proficiency in English; French is also required for positions in Cameroon.
  • Professional Growth: A strong desire to learn and develop professionally.

Duration and Location

  • Duration: 6 months
  • Location: Interns based in countries with an AFRODAD office (e.g., Harare, Zimbabwe, or Yaoundรฉ, Cameroon) will report to the office full-time. Remote arrangements will be available for interns located in other countries.
