Scholarship Benefits
- Grand Prize: $10,000
- Honorable Mentions (2): $2,000 each
Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible for the Global Citizen Scholarship, applicants must:
Be Accepted or Enrolled: Applicants must be accepted into or currently enrolled in a full-time degree program at a U.S. or Canadian school supported by MPOWER.
Have Legal Study Status:
For Study in the U.S.: Applicants must meet one of the following criteria:

- Hold a valid visa that allows study in the U.S.
- Be protected under Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA)
- Be a U.S. permanent resident (Green Card holder)

For Study in Canada: Applicants must meet one of the following criteria:

- Be a Canadian permanent resident
- Hold a valid Canadian study permit

This scholarship is exclusively for international and DACA students. U.S. citizens studying in the U.S. and Canadian citizens studying in Canada are not eligible to apply.
