The University of Wollongong in Dubai (UOWD) is offering prestigious merit-based scholarships for new Master’s students in 2025. These scholarships aim to reward academic excellence and sports achievements, covering up to 50% of tuition fees.

Scholarship Benefits
Two scholarship categories are available for Master’s students:
- 25% Tuition Fee Scholarship – Merit-based award for academic excellence.
- 15% Tuition Fee Scholarship – Additional funding for eligible students.
- Adam Gilchrist Sports Award (50% Tuition Fee Scholarship) – For students with outstanding sports achievements.
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the UOWD Master’s Scholarships 2025, applicants must:
- Be an international or UAE student – Open to students of any nationality.
- Be a new (entry-level) student – Available only for newly admitted full-time students.
- Meet the minimum academic requirements – Based on previous academic performance (see curriculum table on UOWD’s website).
- Meet all UOWD admission requirements – Students must be admitted to a Master’s program at UOWD.
- For the Adam Gilchrist Sports Award – Applicants must provide proof of sports participation.
Required Documents
- To apply for the University of Wollongong Dubai Master’s Scholarships, candidates must submit:
- Academic Transcripts & Certificates – From previous university degrees.
- Referee Reports – If applicable.
- Proof of Sports Participation – For the Adam Gilchrist Sports Award applicants.
Note: Ensure all documents are in English or officially translated before submission.
Guidelines for Applications
Step 1: Apply for Admission to UOWD
- Visit the UOWD admissions portal and apply for a Master’s degree program.
- Submit all required academic documents.
Step 2: Submit the Scholarship Application
- Once admitted, complete the UOWD Master’s Scholarship application form.
- Upload all required supporting documents (transcripts, referee reports, sports certificates).
Step 3: Await Selection Results
- Applications will be reviewed based on academic performance and eligibility.
- Selected candidates will be notified via email.
Selection Process
- Academic Merit Evaluation – Scholarship awards are based on previous academic records.
- Sports Achievement Review – Applicants for the Adam Gilchrist Sports Award must provide proof of participation and achievements.
- Scholarship Committee Decision – Final selection is made by UOWD’s scholarship committee.
Note: Scholarship recipients will receive confirmation via email after the evaluation process.
