Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the Stamps Scholarship, applicants must:
- Apply to the University of Miami before the official application deadline.
- Be a High School Senior – Students must be completing their final year of high school.
- Meet UM Admission Requirements – Strong academic performance required.
- Maintain Full-Time Enrollment – Must complete at least 12 credit hours per semester (24 per year).
- Maintain a Minimum 3.0 GPA – Scholarship renewal depends on maintaining good academic standing.
Required Documents
To apply for the Stamps Scholarship, students must submit:
- Letter of Recommendation – From a teacher, mentor, or school official.
- Academic Transcripts – Official high school records.
- ACT/SAT Scores – Standardized test scores required.
- TOEFL/IELTS Scores – Required for non-native English speakers.
Guidelines for Applications
Step 1: Apply for Admission to the University of Miami
- Visit the University of Miami admissions portal.
- Complete the undergraduate application.
- Submit the required documents (transcripts, test scores, recommendation letters, etc.).
NOTE: No separate application is required for the Stamps Scholarship!
Step 2: Automatic Scholarship Consideration
- Once you apply to UM, your application will be automatically reviewed for the Stamps Scholarship.
Step 3: Semi-Finalist Interview (January 2025)
- Shortlisted candidates will interview via Zoom with the Stamps Scholarship Selection Committee.
Step 4: Finalist Selection & Interview (February 2025)
- Finalists will be invited to a second interview with the Stamps Family Charitable Foundation.
Step 5: Scholarship Announcement (March 2025)
📢 Winners will be notified via email and will receive a formal acceptance letter.
Selection Process
- Phase 1: Initial Application Review – Evaluates academic transcripts, test scores, recommendation letters, and leadership experience.
- Phase 2: Semi-Finalist Interviews – Conducted via Zoom in January with the Stamps Scholarship Selection Committee.
- Phase 3: Finalist Selection & Interviews – Finalists are notified in late January and will interview with the Stamps Family Charitable Foundation.
- Phase 4: Scholarship Announcement – Winners are announced by early March.
