Scholarship Benefits
Selected candidates will receive:

Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the Tokyo City University Scholarship 2026, applicants must:
- Have completed 16 years of education in their home country
- Be within two years of obtaining their Bachelor’s degree
- Rank in the top 10% academically at a university ranked in the top 10% nationally
- Be able to submit a letter of recommendation from the President of their undergraduate university
- Not be receiving any other form of scholarship
- Plan to enroll in a Master’s program at TCU and continue to a Doctoral program
- Demonstrate strong academic and personal excellence, with clear potential for research contributions and internationalization

The scholarship applies to applicants in the following programs:
- Graduate School of Integrative Science and Engineering
- Graduate School of Environmental and Information Studies
Required Application Documents
Applicants must prepare and submit the following:
- Prior Consultation Forms (Form B & D) detailing intended field of study
- Letter of Recommendation from the President of your University
- Academic Transcripts and Certificates
- Statement of Purpose or Research Interest
- Additional documents as specified by the graduate school
