Residents storm NEMA warehouse in FCT, pilfer food items during hardship

Several individuals have trespassed into a warehouse owned by the National Emergency Management Agency of Nigeria (NEMA) in the Federal Capital Territory.

The facility, situated in Karimo, Phase 3 Region of the FCT, Abuja, was raided on Sunday morning, with reports indicating that the intruders made off with food supplies and various items.

In response, the Abuja police force has been dispatched to the location to disperse the looters. Josephine Adeh, the spokesperson for the FCT Police Command, confirmed the incident and assured that the situation has been brought under control.

“The situation is now under control,” stated Adeh.
