In partnership with the African Union Gender Peace and Security Programme, this initiative is hosting a 5-day training to strengthen young African women’s skills in monitoring, documenting, and reporting on the implementation of the WPS agenda.

Programme Details
The Researchers Without Borders (REWiB) Training Program is designed to equip young African women with practical skills to actively participate in the WPS (Women, Peace, and Security) agenda. Graduates of the training will design and implement localized monitoring initiatives, and their findings will contribute to a continental WPS monitoring compendium. This compendium will be shared with the African Union, national governments, and other partners, providing valuable, on-the-ground insights.

Eligibility Requirements
REWiB is looking for 20 dynamic young women from Africa who are passionate about peace, security, and data-driven initiatives.
How to Apply (Step-by-Step)
The application process is straightforward. To apply, you must submit your application to info@rewib.org by September 30, 2025. Your application email should include the following two attachments:
- A short personal statement (maximum 500 words) explaining why you want to join the fellowship.
- Your CV/Resume (maximum 2 pages).
Selected participants will attend a physical training in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, in November 2025, and will also participate in follow-up virtual training sessions. Following the training, you will be required to design and implement a localized monitoring activity and produce a short community monitoring report.
