The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has received sensitive materials for the upcoming re-run polls and by-elections for State and Federal Constituencies in Kaduna State.
The Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC) of INEC in the state, Malam Aminu Idris, led a team of stakeholders in displaying the materials at the INEC office in Kaduna.

Elections are scheduled to take place in six constituencies covering seven local government areas, including Chikun, Igabi, Kaduna South, Kudan, Kachia, Kagarko, and Kauru.
There are a total of 1,114 polling units in these constituencies with approximately 639,914 registered voters who have collected their Permanent Voters’ Cards (PVCs).
The display of materials was observed by representatives from the National Electoral Commission and various stakeholders, including party agents, security agents, Civil Society Organizations (CSOs), and journalists.
National Electoral Commission has scheduled 44 supplementary elections across the country for this Saturday, following vacancies declared due to the resignation or demise of members of the National and State Houses of Assembly.
