The SystemSpecs Annual Essay Competition (CDEC) was initiated in 2020 as part of our Corporate Social Responsibility commitment to foster capacity development for the ICT industry in Nigeria.
Through CDEC, we aim to stimulate the minds of young Nigerians, empowering them to address everyday problems.
Topic: Protecting the Nigerian Child from the Dangers of Online Technology
With limitless possibilities online, the topic invites participants to explore how technology can be used to safeguard Nigerian children from potential online hazards.
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must be primary and secondary school children in Nigeria, aged between 9 and 16 years.
– The Junior category (ages 9 to 12) should submit a maximum of 1,000 words.
– The Senior category (ages 13 to 16) should submit a maximum of 1,500 words.
