Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the Hasselt University Master Mind Scholarship, applicants must:
✅ Have an excellent academic record:
- GPA of 3.5 out of 4.0 (Check using Scholaro GPA Calculator).
✅ Meet English proficiency requirements: - IELTS: Minimum 7.0 band score.
- TOEFL: Minimum 94 total score.
- CAE (C1 level) or equivalent.
- Online TOEFL/IELTS tests are accepted.
✅ Be an international student: - Must have obtained their previous degree from a non-Flemish institution.
- Cannot be currently enrolled in a Flemish university (except for preparatory program students).
✅ Not hold another Flemish government or Erasmus Mundus scholarship.
✅ Not be a Russian national (all other nationalities are eligible).
✅ Not be applying for a preparatory, bridging, or distance-learning program.
Required Documents
- To apply for the Hasselt University Master Mind Scholarship, candidates must submit:
- Completed Master’s Program Application – Submit a full application to Hasselt University.
- Master Mind Scholarship Application Form – Fill out and submit before March 15, 2025.
- Two Recommendation Letters – From professors or a recent employer (in English). Merge into a single PDF file before uploading.
- Admission Letter (if required) – Only for Master of Management & Master of Transportation Sciences applicants.

Step 1: Apply for Admission

3️⃣ Upload all required academic documents.
Step 2: Submit the Scholarship Application
- Complete the official Master Mind application form.
- Upload all required documents (recommendation letters, admission letter if applicable).
- Submit before the deadline (March 15, 2025).
Selection Process
- Step 1: Review of Academic Records & GPA.
- Step 2: Evaluation of English Proficiency & Recommendation Letters.
- Step 3: Selection by Hasselt University & Flemish Ministry of Education.
- Step 4: Successful candidates receive confirmation via email.
NOTE: Please be careful when applying for other scholarships. An admission letter to study at Hasselt University always comes directly from Hasselt University and from an official e-mail address ending with @uhasselt.be.
