Scholarship Benefits

The scholarship includes:

Tuition Fees

• • Full exemption from tuition fees, including acceptance, examination, registration, and orientation fees.

Travel Allowance

• • Economy-class air ticket to Brunei Darussalam before the course starts and back to the recipient’s home country upon completion.

Monthly Allowances

• • Personal Allowance: BND$500.00
  • Meals Allowance: BND$150.00

Annual Book Allowance

• • BND$600.00

Accommodation

• • Free accommodation at the university/polytechnic residential colleges.

Baggage Allowance

• • For shipping personal effects upon completion:
    • BND$250.00 (ASEAN countries)
    • BND$500.00 (Non-ASEAN countries)

Insurance

• • Comprehensive insurance throughout the scholarship period. (Applicants are encouraged to secure additional coverage.)

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must meet the following conditions:

Age Limits:

• • Diploma and Undergraduate programs: Must not exceed 25 years old by July 1, 2025.
  • Postgraduate Master’s programs: Must not exceed 35 years old by July 1, 2025.

Language Proficiency:

• • GCE ‘O’ Level English: Credit 6
  • IGCSE English (Second Language): Grade ‘C’
  • IELTS: Minimum score of 6.0
  • TOEFL: Minimum score of 550

Required Documents

Applicants must submit the following:

1. Completed Application Form (downloadable from the scholarship webpage).
2. Certified Academic Transcripts and Certificates.
3. English Language Proficiency Proof (IELTS/TOEFL).
4. Passport Copy (valid for the duration of the study).
5. Recommendation Letters from academic referees.
