Are you a young innovator passionate about addressing environmental problems in your local community and beyond?

Mercedes-Benz is looking for 1,000 Fellows for the next cohort, which kicks off in May 2026! Applications will officially open on September 17, 2025. The company is looking for ambitious, dedicated, and passionate individuals, committed to building a sustainable future through eco-innovation.

Designed and implemented by The DO School Fellowships and funded by Mercedes-Benz, beVisioneers: The Mercedes-Benz Fellowship launched in 2023 to equip thousands of young people around the world with the tools and resources to implement environmental projects for a sustainable planet.

Eligibility Requirements

To be considered for the Mercedes-Benz beVisioneers Fellowship Program, you must meet the following requirements:

• Be an individual between the ages of 16-28, who wants to address an environmental problem and resides in one of the participating countries (and will reside in one of the participating countries for the duration of the fellowship).
• Applicants should have a good oral and written command of English.
• You do not need previous entrepreneurial experience; you just need to be passionate and driven to help build a sustainable future.
• Reside in one of the following countries for the duration of the program: Argentina, Australia, Canada, Chile, Costa Rica, Europe, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Kenya, Korea, Malaysia, Mexico, Nigeria, Panama, Philippines, Rwanda, Singapore, South Africa, Tanzania, Thailand, Uganda, USA, Vietnam, and Zimbabwe. How to Apply (Step by Step)

There are three sections to the application for the Mercedes-Benz Fellowship, which takes approximately 30-40 minutes to complete.

1. Written Application: The first section requires you to provide:

• • Basic information about yourself and contact information.
  • Your passion and project idea for the environmental challenge you want to tackle.
  • Your learning and financial needs.
  • A self-assessment test.
  • A scanned copy of your passport or national ID card.

1. Video Interview: The second section requires you to record a three-minute video interview about the environmental challenge you are passionate about and your idea to address it. 2. Financial Support Application (Optional): The final section is for those who request financial assistance. You will need to provide:

• • Reference Request: You must provide two references who can testify to your living situation. These people must be employed and cannot be family members. You will request the reference electronically by providing the referee’s email address. The referee will then receive a link to submit the reference on your behalf.
  • Income Declaration: You will need to provide your or your household’s yearly income from 2024 by providing accurate and complete information about your monthly income sources directly in the application form.
