According to reports, unknown attackers gained access to Dr. Abdulkadir’s office and launched a vicious assault on him, wielding both a knife and a hammer as their weapons of choice. The attack resulted in severe injuries to Dr. Abdulkadir, who was later discovered lying lifeless in a pool of blood.
Details provided by intelligence sources, including Zagazola Makama, a Counter-Insurgency Expert and Security Analyst in the Lake Chad region, paint a grim picture of the brutality inflicted upon the victim.
It is reported that Dr. Abdulkadir valiantly attempted to defend himself during the attack, resulting in his hands being grievously injured as he tried to fend off the assailants.
The assailants, undeterred by Dr. Abdulkadir’s resistance, proceeded to inflict further harm by using a hammer to strike his head and spinal cord, leading to his instantaneous demise. The gruesome nature of the attack left the university community reeling with shock and horror.
In addition to the loss of life, the perpetrators also made off with Dr. Abdulkadir’s vehicle and other valuables, compounding the tragedy and leaving authorities scrambling to apprehend the culprits responsible for the heinous crime.
