Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the Chinese Government Scholarship 2025, applicants must:

  • Be a non-Chinese citizen (any nationality except China)
  • Meet the following age and academic requirements:

Undergraduate 25 High school diploma or equivalent
Master’s 30 Bachelor’s degree
Doctoral 35 Master’s degree
  • Be in good health
  • Meet the academic qualifications and language proficiency required by the chosen university or program

Required Documents

To apply, candidates must prepare the following documents:

  •  Completed Application Form
  •  Hubei Provincial Foreign Student Scholarship Application Form
  •  A photocopy of your valid passport
  •  Notarized highest diploma or degree certificate
  •  Academic transcripts or professional certificates
  •  Two letters of recommendation from academic or professional referees
  •  Medical examination form or health certificate
  •  Legal guardianship documents (for applicants under 18 years old)

Note: All documents must be translated into Chinese or English and notarized.

  4.  Complete the application form online or download and print the form as instructed.
  5.  Submit all required documents through the university’s online platform or mail them to the university’s admissions office.
