- Applicants who have not previously received another equivalent scholarship or income covering their general living expenses
- Students who meet the English language proficiency requirements set by the university
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible, applicants must:
- Be enrolled or accepted into an accredited RHD course at
- Central Queens University
- Not be receiving another income for general living costs
- Fulfill the academic and language entry requirements of CQ University
- Be nominated by a CQ University supervisory team
Selection Criteria
This is a merit-based scholarship, with a competitive assessment process. Applicants are evaluated based on:

How to Apply for the CQ University RTP Scholarship 2025
The application process includes several steps:
- Apply for admission to a Research Higher Degree (Masters or PhD) at CQUniversity.
- Express your interest in the RTP Scholarship to your supervisory team during the application process.
- Based on the recommendation of your supervisors, you will be invited by the School of Graduate Research to complete a scholarship application.
NOTE: There is no direct public application portal. Selection begins with discussions initiated between the student and supervisory team. You cannot apply if you are already receiving an equivalent Commonwealth scholarship intended to offset RHD tuition fees.
