Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the Bank of Ireland Executive MBA Scholarship, applicants must:
- Be working in the Not-for-Profit/Charity sector.
- Meet the entry requirements for the UCC CUBS Executive MBA (Course Code CKL11).
- Apply for the Executive MBA program via UCC’s online application portal.
- Receive and accept an offer of admission to the Executive MBA program.
Only candidates meeting these criteria will be considered.
Required Documents
Applicants must submit:
Personal Statement (Max 1,000 words), including:
- Educational and career history.
- Examples of excellence in professional career or personal achievements.
- Future career ambitions and how the MBA will help.
- Why they deserve the scholarship.
Up-to-date CV.
All documents must be submitted before the deadline.
Guidelines for the Application
Application Deadline: June 20, 2025, at 5:00 PM (Irish Time)
Step 1: Apply for the UCC CUBS Executive MBA
Visit the UCC online application portal. Submit all required admission documents.
Step 2: Submit Your Scholarship Application
Send your Personal Statement and CV to the MBA Academic Director.
Incomplete applications will not be considered.
Selection Process
Applications will be reviewed by:
- Dean of CUBS (or nominee).
- CEO of Cork University Foundation / Director of Business Development and Advancement (or nominee).
- MBA Academic Director.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an interview. Interviews will be held the week of June 30, 2025. The scholarship winner will be announced after the interview process.
The final decision will be based on merit and alignment with the scholarship goals.
