Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for the Bank of Ireland Executive MBA Scholarship, applicants must:

  • Be working in the Not-for-Profit/Charity sector.
  • Meet the entry requirements for the UCC CUBS Executive MBA (Course Code CKL11).
  •  Apply for the Executive MBA program via UCC’s online application portal.
  • Receive and accept an offer of admission to the Executive MBA program.

📌 Personal Statement (Max 1,000 words), including:

  • Educational and career history.
  • Examples of excellence in professional career or personal achievements.
  • Future career ambitions and how the MBA will help.
  • Why they deserve the scholarship.

Guidelines for the Application

📌 Application Deadline: June 20, 2025, at 5:00 PM (Irish Time)

Step 1: Apply for the UCC CUBS Executive MBA

📌 Visit the UCC online application portal.
📌 Submit all required admission documents.

Step 2: Submit Your Scholarship Application

📌 Send your Personal Statement and CV to the MBA Academic Director.

📢 Incomplete applications will not be considered.

Selection Process

✔ Applications will be reviewed by:

  • Dean of CUBS (or nominee).
  • CEO of Cork University Foundation / Director of Business Development and Advancement (or nominee).
  • MBA Academic Director.

✔ Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an interview.
✔ Interviews will be held the week of June 30, 2025.
✔ The scholarship winner will be announced after the interview process.

📢 The final decision will be based on merit and alignment with the scholarship goals.
