The Unicorn Kingdom: Pathfinder Awards were first introduced by the UK’s Business Secretary during London Tech Week in June 2023. This initiative builds upon the success of the UK’s Tech Rocketship Awards and Global Entrepreneur Program.
The UK’s Department for Business and Trade (DBT) is actively seeking out the most promising tech startup companies globally through the Unicorn Kingdom: Pathfinder Awards.
Eligibility
Eligibility criteria include startup companies with ambitions to expand globally in the AI, Connected & Automated Mobility (CAM) Technology, Cyber Security, and Digital Trade Solutions sectors. These startups have the opportunity to tap into the UK’s thriving tech sector, valued at $1 trillion.
Benefits
Winners of the awards will benefit from a tailored program in the UK, including meetings with leading industry and government specialists, invitations to VIP events and receptions, and expert support from DBT’s Global Entrepreneur Programme, aimed at helping ambitious businesses scale and grow from a UK global headquarters.
