Benefits
As a member of our team, you’ll operate within cohorts typically consisting of 3 to 5 consultants, actively participating in all facets of client interactions.
This entails gathering and scrutinizing data, formulating and validating hypotheses, and crafting and delivering recommendations. Furthermore, you’ll have opportunities to present findings to client leadership and collaborate with client team members in implementing recommendations.
Junior Associates receive comprehensive training and ongoing coaching from colleagues, including guidance from a Partner assigned to your local office or practice.
In your initial years, you’ll benefit from up to five weeks of structured training. Additionally, your local office or practice will support you in selecting client projects, aiding in your skill development and network expansion.
While specialization evolves over time at McKinsey, most consultants begin with a broad focus, thus prior industry or functional expertise is not a prerequisite for success. For experienced professionals joining McKinsey, this may entail building upon existing knowledge or delving into entirely new areas of expertise.
