The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) is offering the 2025 ASUU Scholarship Award to indigent and qualified students in accredited tertiary institutions across Nigeria.

Scholarship Benefits

• Award Amount: ₦200,000.00
• Beneficiaries: 2 students per university registered with an ASUU branch.
• Coverage: Tuition, accommodation, and living stipends.

Eligibility Requirements

To qualify for the ASUU Scholarship, applicants must:

1. Be indigent (financially challenged).
2. Be enrolled in a recognized Nigerian university with an ASUU branch.
3. Have a minimum CGPA of 3.0 or equivalent in the preceding academic session.

Required Documents

Applicants must submit the following:

Application Letter – Not more than 2 pages including

• • Full Name (as stated on institution records).
  • Course of Study.
  • Current Year of Study.
  • Study Duration.
  • State of Origin.
  • Reason for Scholarship Consideration (why you deserve the award).

Identity Verification

• • Photocopy of Student ID card.
  • Two (2) passport photographs (recent).

Academic Evidence

• • Letter from Head of Department (HOD) confirming current CGPA and student status.
  • Copy of registration form for the current semester.

Application Guidelines

1. Write your application letter (2 pages max).
2. Attach all required documents listed above.
3. Submit your application to your institution’s ASUU branch office.

Application Deadline: January 9, 2025.

All applications must be submitted at the ASUU Secretariat in your university
